I was at the end of my days on Earth
And the sunset was near at hand
When I perceived I was amidst the trees
On my way to the promise land
The seasons seemed to change rapidly
I could see the holy light
Far ahead at the end of the waters of life
The world turned into night
As I watched, there, before me
I thought I saw God's own hand
I thought I saw my savior
I would go to the promise land
The leaves, they changed many colors
I knew this was a portal for me
A portal there, in the forest
That lead to eternity
I would go through the dew, and the damp
I felt the love of God even more
I could see the beauty that lay before me
There, at heavens door
As for me, time would be no more
And time would be no more
