I was jogging down by the Hills nearby
And to the Park by the Bay
When there on a bench I saw a lady
She didn't have much to say
But, I stopped soas to rest my bones
And we sat as the Sun nearly Set
And I told her I "jogged for my Lord"
But, she hadn't spoken, yet
You see, I had Cancer real bad
And I survived and danced again
And I was out Jogging for Joy and God
A man no Stranger to the RAIN
And suddenly she said, "Halleluah"
And then she began to Pray
She reached her hands out to Heaven
This Lady I found on my Way
And I noticed she wore tathered rags
And she had wrinkles more than a few
But, she looked at me and smiled real big
She said, " God is watching you."
A breeze came as from nowhere
The Light turned into Green
Heaven, it opened before me
And there was beauty like I've never seen
And the Lady there all in tathers
She was suddenly adorned in White
Her wrinkles gave way to Beauty
As the day gave way to Night
And she looked on me and then she spake
"My Son, don't you know?"
I am the Mother called "Mary"
My head was bending low
"And I am here to greet you"
You served the Lord that is true
And God knows all you are saying
God knows all that you do
And, she told me "Be a Watchman"
For "her Son would be here again"
Come the End of Ages
And Come the Final Rain
I looked again but she was gone
I was sitting there, only me
The Skies were clear and peaceful
I got down on my Knee
I prayed aloud to the Living Christ
I thanked his Mother as well
And I saw a Star twinkling up above
For me, I could tell
I got up and I jogged on home
And I heard a thunder roll
And "Jesus Christ is Coming Soon"
I heard within my Soul
I have never saw that lady again
Though I jog on down by the Bay
But when I do, I stop by that bench
And there I kneel to Pray
There I kneel to Pray
