opinion of the poem and author = I certainly understand your feelings. I lost my precious mother in 1988 and miss her more today than ever - however, with the passing of time and in doing some reflective thinking, I know that death for her was the best thing to happen at that time. She could not get well, so in a sense her death was the best "healing" that could have happened.
Good luck to you. Keep writing. It is so good for your soul and for the souls of your readers.

opinion of the poem and author = My taste runs toward the realistic - this one is not only funny, but an example of probably what should be included in pre-marital counseling.The only other thing that I would add to your poem is when a man finishes doing what he must do, why must he SLAM down the lid and jolt the whole household?

You did not allude to the Nicole Brown/OJ Simpson matter, which certainly did turn out to be a fatal attraction - for her, not him. Excellent, I hope you become a regular contributor to the Voice, I'd love to see more of your work!
