A new poll for you though - now that Season 10 has finished, I've chosen my 5 favourite episodes. But which one of them was your favourite? Get voting!

Season 10 News - Season 10 will probably start airing on January 10th 2003 at 10.00pm on Channel 4! November 21st 2002

Another new layout - I had a few complaints about the new layout from people who said the "Showing This Week" column was too easy to spot and the spoilers in the USA part of it were too visible. So I've moved the Showing This Week back to the side of the page. I like it better there anyway. :-)

Happy Birthday to me! - I won't be here this weekend as I am going to Wales for my 18th birthday party! That's why I'm updating now. I'll be back on Monday with a lot of updates for you and a new fan fiction, which is almost finished!

September 14th 2002

9/11 - I wanted to make an update on Wednesday, sadly my computer was down for the day, plus I had lots of homework. I managed to change the title page though in school, to pay my respects. I hope there is never another day like 9/11 ever.

Fan Fiction - I've been changing the Fan Fiction links into the new style format, and checking for any spelling errors, so they are now completely up to date! I've also changed "When Martin Met Hester". Previously it was 10 parts, but to save space on my poor computer I have shrunk it down to 5 parts. The new Part is the old Parts 1 and 2, the new Part 2 is the old Parts 3 and 4 and so on. The story itself has not been altered, just the way it is arranged.

Season 9 - Yes, Paramount are showing Season 9 starting from this week, according to their website and my TV guide, meaning they are missing Season 8 out. I pity the poor viewers who will see Daphne leave Donny for Niles and then next episode Frasier's the one in trouble! :-)

September 7th 2002

Season 10 - a quick update to the Season 10 page. I've corrected the title of the season premiere as it has been changed from "The Wedding" to "The Ring Cycle". Don't forget them - Next Wednesday will be on September 11th - one year on after the events in New York and Washington, and the deaths of Frasier co-creator David Angell and his wife Lynn. Don't forget them or anyone else killed on that awful day.

September 4th 2002

Yet another update! - I think this has to be the shortest period between updates. Anyway, I forgot to change this page yesterday with regards to the Showing This Week column, plus the Skyline page has had a few updates. I now only the skyline for Ep 120 "Good Grief" - I now have all the rest! Yay!

September 3rd 2002

New show times - from this week Paramount are having a schedule change. Frasier will still be on at 10pm Mon-Thurs, but will now also be on at 5pm! Cheers will be on before it at 4.30pm, so in a way that's a whole hour of Frasier! Check Showing This Week for more info on the new times.

August 25th 2002

August 14th 2002

I'm back - from my holidays and I managed to pick up 2 pieces of Frasier merchandise! A video - The Very Best Of Frasier Vol 4: Like Father Like Sons - and the Frasier CD. Pictures of both, plus information on the Series 3 box sets, have been added to the Merchandise page.

Song Lyrics - Listening to the CD made me realise that many songs on Frasier don't have the necessary lyrics on my Song Lyrics page. So I've added some more, including Buttons and Bows (both the proper version and the Frasier version when he forgot the words!) ad Goldfinger. Click here to read them.

Episodes 19 and 20 - Checking my e-mail yesterday, I found a few saying that for some reason, clicking on Ep 19 bought up the Actors page and clicking on Ep 20 bought up Ep 190! I don't know why this happened, but I have reuploaded the pages anyway.

August 2nd 2002

Important notice regarding e-mails - Tomorrow I am on holiday for almost 2 weeks! Yay! However when I come back my Inbox would be full of junk mails, as sadly I get about 14 a day.

To stop this, I have set my Junk Mail filter to delete all junk mails, rather than keep them for me to "inspect" (just in case there is an e-mail in there that shouldn't be there). As a result, if "GNS" is not put into your e-mail subject, the e-mail will go to the Junk Mail folder and will be automatically deleted, meaning it won't be there waiting when I come back.

E-mails with "GNS" in the subject bar will go to the correct folder and will be there waiting for me when I come back.

Thanks, and I'll update again when I return.

July 30th 2002

Season 10 - some new spoilers for the new season! I've added a Season 10 forum to the Message Board and there are some spoilers there. Click here to view them.

Next week - Ep 124 "First Do No Harm" is definitely airing next Tuesday at 11.05pm.

Happy birthday - to Saul Rubinek (Donny) who turns 54 tomorrow.

New design - yet another version is online! The box containing the writer, director cast etc is now in the same colour that the word Frasier appears in at the start. For example, the word "Frasier" is green in Season 8, so my test page (a Season 8 episode) now has a green box on it. Click here to see it. Don't forget to e-mail me your comments about the redesign at gjthomas84@hotmail.com putting "GNS New Design" in the subject bar. Thanks!

July 28th 2002

First, Do No Harm - I made a mistake with the airdates on this one. I'd forgotten that the announcer said "And there's no Frasier next week." As a result I have changed the airdate of this episode to the Tuesday after that, although I don't know for sure whether this is the airdate. I will keep you informed!!!

Moondance Cut Scenes - the Cut Scenes guide for Ep 61 "Moondance" is now online here.

July 23rd 2002

New Fan Fiction - Parts 9 and 10 of "When Martin Met Hester" are now online, and I'm very sorry for the long delay between Parts 8 and 9! It won't happen again. Anyway click here to read Parts 9 and 10.

New layout - I've had some positive comments about the proposed new layout. I've changed it slightly, adding a border to the thing. Please have another look if you've already seen it, and send me your comments! Thanks.

Happy birthday - to Tom McGowan, who plays Kenny. He turns 44 on Friday.

July 20th 2002

New Episode Guide Layout! - A quick update, just to say that I have been thinking of redesigning my episode guide pages, adding photos to them too! I've created an example of what the new layout would look like. Click here to have a look.

The reason I have put up a preview is to see if they are liked or not. Please e-mail me at gjthomas84@hotmail.com with your comments about the new style so I can make any necessary changes before converting all my pages, putting "GNS New Layout" in the subject bar. Thanks!

July 18th 2002

Edward Hibbert - you may have wondered why Gil has not appeared at all in Season 9. The answer is that Edward Hibbert, who plays him, has been a bit busy - find out on the updated Edward Hibbert page!

Frasier's Love Life - a few updates on this page, including two regular characters (one of whom bedded Frasier 7 years ago! I just forgot to put her on the list), plus a character from Cheers. Click here.

Dial 'M' For Martin - I've written the review of this episode on my message board, click here to read it.

July 11th 2002

Creator Profiles - this section has had a few updates! I've updated the profiles of all 3 creators, David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee, with lots more information

Writers - I've created a new page - well, sort of! The Writers page has been moved to the Behind The Scenes section, and some of the writers now have mini-biographies accompanying them. Click here to see it.

July 3rd 2002

Sorry! - for the almost 2 week gap between updates. I have been very busy with schoolwork. It's not fair, I've just had exams, there's only a few weeks left until summer, and the teachers have set me loads of work! I have two presentations to do, some essays, revising for a maths test.....well, I won't bore you with the details :-)

Frasier's back! - Channel 4 have started showing repeats of Frasier on Tuesday evenings at 11.05pm.

Back to Seattle - the 3rd and final part of the trilogy is now online. Click here to read it. Parts 9 and 10 of "When Martin Met Hester" are almost ready - Part 9 was almost complete, but my computer crashed and I lost it, so I have to retype it :-(

New Page - some episodes take place on certain days, for example those set on Valentine's Day. This new page lists all these episodes. Click here.

Season 3 - the Season 3 Part 2 video box set is now available to buy.

June 20th 2002

Happy birthday - to John Mahoney, who turns 62 today!

Cut Scenes - TVAddict from the Message Board has kindly been working on the Season 8 episodes for this section. They are now online, comparing the final show with an earlier script. Click here to see them.

Advertise43 - a new website has signed up to my little scheme. On a few pages on this site you will find links to Independence Day UK, a fan fiction spin off to the movie. I've read it and it's a good story so far. If you want to advertise on Goodnight Seattle please click here.

And finally - a slight update to the Episode Titles References page.

June 13th 2002

New fan fiction - Part 2 of Back to Seattle is now online here. I've also updated the Fan Fiction In-Jokes page with the new story.

Merchandise - On the Merchandise page, there is the book "What's Your Frasier IQ?" by Robert W Bly. Previously I thought it had only been available in the USA, but today I discovered the book in Waterstone's, priced £5.99. Therefore the Merchandise page has been slightly updated.

June 8th 2002

Not much of an update this week - just the relevant updates on this page. I've also updated the Advertise43 page, where you can advertise your website on Goodnight Seattle.

Message Board - don't forget to visit the GNS Message Board to discuss all things Frasier. The site won't be that active over the next few weeks - there's no new episodes, and my episode guides are all complete, so most of my online activity will be on the board. Click here to visit it.

June 1st 2002

Episode Quiz - I've completed the Episode Quiz with questions from the new series. Click here to try them out!!!

New Fan Fiction - Part 4 of "Something New" is now online here.

E-mailing me - It's good that everyone is putting GNS in their e-mail subjects to me, it's getting to the right folder, but could you also please be a bit more specific? For example, "GNS Character File" or "GNS Quiz Answers" or "GNS - love the site!". It just helps me out a bit, as opposed to opening my inbox and finding half a dozen e-mails, all with just "GNS" in the subject :-). Thanks!!!

And finally - Happy Jubilee Weekend to Queen Elizabeth, her family and to everyone else in Britain.

May 25th 2002

The Guilt Trippers / Moons Over Seattle - an unusual yet quite funny double bill last night, the episode guides are now online here. What did you think of Frasier and Roz sleeping together? Read some thoughts at the Message Board under the Characters forum.

Characters Update - I've added Harry Moon, Roz's sister Denise and Roger to the Other Characters page, plus I've updated the Roz Doyle page as well.

Other Updates - the Skyline, Roz's Love Life, Martin's Buddies and Frasier's Love Life have also been updated.

Happy birthday - to Peri Gilpin, who turns 41 tomorrow.

May 20th 2002

Frasier Has Spokane - the episode guide for this episode is now online here. What did you think of it? Read my review on the message board.

The site is now back up - sorry about it being down, it was out of my control. Now GeoCities are back up again we're online again.

Sorry for my delay - but everything was down Saturday and on Sunday I spent the day revising for my maths exam this evening, which sadly took priority.

New fan fiction - part 1 of a new trilogy, Back to Seattle, is now online here.

Double bill - this week sees the new series finishing in both the UK and North America. It's quite funny - at one point the USA was half a series ahead of us, now we're only 3 days behind! :-)

May 12th 2002

The Love You Fake/Cheerful Goodbyes - the episode guides for these two new episodes are now online here.

Other Character update - quite a few editions! I've added Cliff, Norm, Carla, Paul and Phil from Cheerful Goodbyes onto this page, plus Rebecca and John Allen Hill from Cheers who have not appeared on Frasier but I thought I'd better put them in anyway. See them here. I've also updated the Cheers page. Before, there were character descriptions of some characters on both the Cheers and Other Characters pages, now all the characters are on the Other Characters page and the Cheers page now has some background information about the show. Oh, and I've also added Cam Winston to the Other Characters page.

New Fan Fiction - Part 3 of "Something New" has been added here.

Cut Scenes - a new feature of the Episode Guide. The scripts in the Frasier script books are sometimes different to the final scripts. Scenes get chopped or added in, the odd line is dropped/changed, so this new section will list all these changes. Click here.

Other updates - Several of the Lists and References pages have also been updated.

And finally - Earlier this week we had our 10,000th visitor!!! Victory lattes for everyone, as Niles would say. :-)

May 4th 2002

Death-trap - the episode guide for this episode is now online here.

Brand New Fan Fiction! - Jacqueline Hope has sent in the first two parts of a new story, "Something New". It's a very good start to what promises to be a great story. Read it here.

Good news everyone! - Next week Channel 4 is having a Frasier double bill, which means 2 new episodes! Not only that, but the second one is the Cheers reunion, "Cheerful Goodbyes", which means we get to see it a week earlier than we should have.

Name that episode - I've replaced this with a new section, Classic Frasier Lines, which will have a classic line or phrase every update..

Other updates - the Skyline, Timeline and the Frasier/Niles character pages have all had small updates.

April 27th 2002

War Of The Words - the episode guide for this episode is now online here.

When Martin Met Hester - Part 8 of the story is now online, click here to see it.

Showing This Week - due to popular demand, I've added NBC onto the "Showing This Week" section.

Other updates - the Lilith character page has had a slight update, click here. I've also updated the Timeline page with some new information.

A slight apology - the "Showing This Week" on Paramount that I listed last week was slightly off. Paramount showed some films on Tuesday - therefore no Frasier, and I forgot about this.

April 22nd 2002

Three Blind Dates - the episode guide for this episode is now online here. Sorry for the delay, I was attending a wedding over the weekend and we got back late last night, then I had school today :-(

Happy birthday - to Jane Leeves (Daphne) who turned 41 on the 18th. Frasier in the UK also had its birthday on the 20th, as that date marked 8 years since the first episode aired over here.

Other updates - the Skyline, Writers and Directors pages have all been updated.

Coming soon - there will be some information on the writers themselves in the Behind The Scenes section, plus Part 8 of When Martin Met Hester. Stay tuned!

April 13th 2002

GNS has moved - the pages of Goodnight Seattle are now on GeoCities rather than Tripod. The main address however will still be http://goodnightseattle.tvheaven.com.

Links - I've been updating every single page, adding in the Message Board link and changing the Index link from index.htm to atoZindex.htm. Each page now also has the correct e-mail address.

Wheels Of Fortune - the episode guide for this episode is now online here.

Other Updates - The Merchandise, Episode Title References, Timeline and both Character and Episode Quizzes have been updated with new information / new questions.

Funny Girls Marathon - Lilith didn't appear in the top 20, but Roz was 2nd and Daphne 1st!!! Carla from Cheers was 14th as well. Well done girls!!!

April 6th 2002

The Proposal - a fantastic episode. Read my thoughts on the Message Board. The episode guide is also online here. I've also updated Niles and Daphne's character profiles as well.

Funny Girls - Don't forget the Funny Girls marathon on this weekend on Paramount Comedy. Let's see where Roz, Daphne and Lilith turn up (my 3 votes, or more rather, my dad's :-))

The Frasier Hour - makes a reappearance on Paramount from Wednesday, meaning 2 Frasiers a day!!!

A reminder - please, put GNS and/or Frasier in the subject bar of your e-mails. If you don't, it will end up in my junk mail folder. I do check this folder and I do read all Frasier related e-mails, but it would make life a bit easier if they were all in one folder - hence the GNS part. Thanks!

April 3rd 2002

Happy Birthday - to David Hyde Pierce (Niles) who turns 43 today, and to Marsha Mason (Sherry) who turns 60 today.

Win a trip to LA! - the Paramount Comedy Channel are having a Funny Girls Marathon this weekend (April 6th-7th) in association with the Race For Life charity. You get to vote for your favourite funny girls and the winners will be revealed this weekend! Plus, everyone who enters will be placed into a draw to win a trip to LA to see an episode of Frasier being filmed! So go to http://www.paramountcomedy.co.uk/ and enter the draw (sorry, UK residents over 18 only - my dad had to enter on my behalf as I'm only 17!!!)

March 30th 2002

RIP Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother - I was just about to update this site when I heard the sad news. The Queen Mum died at 3.15pm today, she will be sadly missed and my condolences are with her family.

Juvenilia - the episode guide for this episode is now online here.

When Martin Met Hester - Part 7 of my story is now online. I am sorry for the long delay between Parts 6 and 7 (see previous update) but here it is, at long last :-). I'm off school due to the Easter holidays for 2 weeks, so I may get Part 8 written soon as well and/or Part 1 of "Back To Seattle".

Other Updates - a few small updates to several of the Lists and References pages.

Finally - I would like to wish everyone a happy Easter.

March 23rd 2002

Mothering Away, Part 2 - The episode guide for Mother Load (Part 2) is now online. Click here to see it. Not as good as part 1, but visit the Message Board to read my thoughts on the two episodes.

Other Characters - I've updated the profiles for both Kirby and Mrs Moon. Plus I've added a few people onto the Love Life section of Daphne's profile following last night's episode :-).

When Martin Met Hester - there's been quite a break between Parts 6 and 7. The reason is I found out some information about the proposal from a future episode (well, future for the UK anyway - it's already aired in the USA) and I was trying to think of ways to incorporate this into the story. I've finally managed this, and Part 7 should be up next week. I've also started work on a new trilogy, Back To Seattle, which details Frasier leaving Boston behind and moving back to Seattle. Stay tuned.

March 18th 2002

Apologies - I am very, very sorry about this late update. I was busy the whole weekend with Geography coursework, but luckily it was handed in today (thank goodness!).

Mothering Away - The episode guide for last week's episode is now online here. Good episode, nice to have a two-parter rather than an hour long episode. Can't wait for part 2!

Mrs Moon - I've added her onto the Other Characters page. She'll be around for a while, so more info will be added as time goes on.

March 10th 2002

Bully For Martin - the episode guide for this episode is now online here.

Some Cheer-ful news!!! - It's the Peacock Network's 75th birthday this year, and throughout April and May NBC's stars of the past appear in related present day shows. One of these shows is a show where Frasier returns to Boston!!! It's Cliff's retirement party, and Frasier goes back to attend it. It will be airing in the USA on April 30th and should be in the UK in May!!!

Other updates - I've updated the Skyline, Martin's Buddies and Guest Callers pages again, as they all needed doing after last night's episode. I've also updated the Episode Quiz, as it was a few episodes behind..

March 2nd 2002

Junior Agent - the episode guide for this episode is now online here.

Bebe Glazer - her character profile has been updated following last night's episode. I've also added Portia onto the Other Characters page.

Other updates - I've updated the Skyline, Martin's Buddies and Guest Callers pages as well.

Happy birthday - to Mercedes Ruehl (Kate Costas), who turned 54 last Thursday.

February 23rd 2002

Sharing Kirby - I am now "sharing" this episode guide with you! [cue a lot of groans from readers :-)]. Not a bad episode, read my views on the Message Board. You can find the guide online here.

Transmission dates - Seasons 6, 7 and 8 now have both US and UK transmission dates, meaning all the episode guides do now. Click here to see them.

Happy birthday - to Kelsey Grammer, who turned 48 last Thursday.

February 18th 2002

The 200th Episode - sadly no clip show (see previous update) but the episode guide for this episode is now online!!! Click here. I thought the episode was very funny, much better than some of the things I'd heard about it. I'll be posting my views on the episode on the Message Board - this will be a weekly occurrence. Check them out here.

Yahoo! - GNS is now - finally - listed on Yahoo. After nearly a year of trying, plus a re-submission - we're finally there.

Other Updates - The Guest Callers, Skyline, Episode Quiz and Character Quiz pages have all be updated.

February 14th 2002

Now presenting Kelsey Grammer and John Mahoney! - the pages for both actors have been updated. There's info on Kelsey's marriages, kids and drug addictions which he has successfully beaten, and information on John's tendency to forget words - plus the meaning behind "place mats." Click here to read more!

The 200th Episode - the TV Guide says that the programme after Frasier, So Graham Norton, doesn't begin until 10.35pm. This probably means that us poor UK viewers will be able to see the Frasier clip show that aired in the USA after the 200th episode aired! Set your videos everyone!

Updates - I'm off to visit my grandma tomorrow, so I'll have to put my video on. We won't be back until Sunday, so there will be no update his weekend. I'll try and get the guide for the 200th Episode up by Tuesday at the latest.

February 11th 2002

Bla-Z Boy - the episode guide for this episode is now online here. Sorry for the delay, I've been busy the past weekend.

Martin's Chair - after last Friday's episode, the Martin's chair page has been updated with new information.

February 7th 2002

Season 5 - just a quick update to say that the Season 5 page now has the UK and US airdates.

February 2nd 2002

Room Full Of Heroes - the episode guide for this episode is now online here.

Season 4 - the Season 4 page now has US and UK airdates on it.

Message Board - there may be a few technical errors with the board. It keeps asking me for my username and password whenever I click any link on the board! It wasn't doing this in school though.....

GNS is moving again - The link to the board is only on a few pages. I've added it to lots more on my computer, but the new Tripod only lets you upload one file at a time and it's very slow, so to reupload every page with the new link would take forever! As a result I am moving the site to GeoCities. But don't worry, the main URL will remain unchanged at http://goodnightseattle.tvheaven.com

Next Update - I'll be busy next week with Geography coursework (oh, the wonders of AS levels!) so there might not be any updates this week. Next Saturday I'm in France for the day, so the next guaranteed update will be on Sunday, February 10th 2001.

January 30th 2002

And we're back - The site is now reopen. Sorry about its closure, it was beyond my control and happened to all Tripod sites whilst they upgraded something. Anyway, we're back.

Brand New Message Board!!! - I've started up a Frasier message board! Click here for more details.

Love Stinks - but the episode didn't! It's been a while since we had a Roz themed episode, and it was a great episode too. Click here for the episode guide.

The Index - is moving. It can now be found here. Not all pages have had their link changed yet, but they will have very soon. The reason for the change is that with Tripod, "index.htm" is supposed to be for the main page. I've moved my Index to "atoZindex.htm" so I can use "index.htm" for another Welcome page.

Patrick Kerr - the actor who plays Noel now has his own page here. It doesn't have much on it yet, and if you know more about Patrick please e-mail me gjthomas84@hotmail.com putting GNS in the subject bar.

Episode Guide - I've "spring cleaned" the Season 1 Episode Guides, changing the Index link, sorting out broken links and changing a few errors. Check them out here. Season 3 now has the First US/UK Transmission feature as well.

January 22nd 2002

Not one, but two new Fan Fictions! - Fiona Hyde has submitted a funny little article - "20 Things Never Said On Frasier." Pretty self explanatory, I think :-). Plus I've written Part 6 of "When Martin Met Hester." See both stories here.

Episode Quiz - I've added 3 new questions to this for the 3 recent new episodes. See them here.

January 19th 2002

The Return Of Martin Crane - I was pleased with this episode. It combined comedy with drama. Plus Roz and Eddie both had big parts, and we even had a caller!!! The episode guide for it is online here.

Change of e-mail address - FreeServers, who currently provide the service for my e-mail address, are starting to charge for it. Ironic, huh? :-) Anyway rather than set up an alias e-mail address or paying for one, I've decided to just use my usual e-mail address for the website as well. It is gjthomas84@hotmail.com. When e-mailing me, please put in the subject GNS: (ie GNS: Some information) so that it will go into the right folder!!! Thanks.

Other updates - I've updated the Jane Leeves page with regards to her being Britain's highest paid actress. Go Jane! Plus the Name That Episode section is back on this page due to popular demand.

January 12th 2002

The First Temptation Of Daphne - the episode guide for this episode is now online here.

Episode Guides - these now have a new feature!!! Each episode now also has the first transmission dates for both the UK and USA. At present it is only for Seasons 1, 2 and 9, but I'm working on the rest and they should be up soon.

Updates - the Writers and Directors pages have been updated

January 6th 2002

Don Juan In Hell - The episode guide for the Season 9 premiere is now online. See it here. I'll be adding more Season 9 episode guides as they air in the UK, so American viewers may find that GNS is a bit behind them.

Noel Shempsky - Noel has appeared in quite a few episodes, so I decided to give him his own character page. He also now appears in the Regular Cast section of the episode guides.

Other Character Updates - Kirby and Nanette (Frasier's first wife) have been added to the Other Character page. I've also fixed all the broken links on that page. The Donny page has also been slightly updated as well.

December 31st 2001

Season 6 Episode Guides - are now online!!! The episode guide is finally complete (not counting Season 9 of course) and you can see it here.

Other updates - I've updated the Episode Quiz with 20 new questions, and the Skyline, Roz's Love Life and Martin's Buddies pages have also been updated.

And finally..... - As 2001 draws to a close, I would like to wish everyone a happy new year. Let's hope that after the events of 2001, especially September 11th, 2002 will be a much happier year.

Happy birthday - as mentioned last update, today is Bebe Neuwirth's 43rd birthday.

December 28th 2001

Merry Christmas - I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas,

From Boston To Seattle - a new section in the Behind The Scenes section. From Boston To Seattle: The Creation Of Frasier tells how David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee created the show and how things could have been very different. Click here to read.

Season 2 - I've got the box set for Christmas!!! I've finally got to see a few episodes I hadn't yet seen (believe it or not) and I also got to see again the first episode I ever saw, Ep 29 "Duke's We Hardly Knew Ye".

Season 9 - a few more episode titles can be found here.

In-Jokes - an apology. Last update I said I'd updated this page, but I forgot to upload it to Tripod. So I've done it now. Sorry. :-)

Happy Birthday - to Bebe Neuwirth (Lilith), who turns 43 on New Year's Eve.

Showing This Week - this has been updated. Yes, New Year's Day does only have 1 episode that evening, that's because Paramount have a different schedule just for the day to welcome in 2002. From next Monday though Sex and the City starts at 10.30pm Mon - Thurs, so Frasier will be back to one episode from then on.

December 22nd 2001

Season's Greetings - I've added a little bit onto this fan fiction story, and I've also updated the In-Jokes page as well. Click here to read it.

Season 9 - some more information has been added onto the Season 9 page. Plus it's only 13 days until it hits UK shores!!!

Reminder - I've had a few e-mails telling/asking me about Season 9. Just a reminder that I haven't seen it yet as it has not aired in the UK yet!!! Therefore I won't know any answers to any S9 questions yet. Also, I don't want to know any spoilers either. Thanks.

Happy Birthday - to Moose, who plays Eddie, who turns 11 on Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas - I'll try and update this site again before Christmas, but just in case I don't, have a Merry Christmas.

December 16th 2001

British Comedy Awards - Frasier was nominated in the Best International Comedy Award in these awards, but lost out to Seinfeld. Never mind, there's always next year!

TV & Satellite Week - In the Christmas edition of this TV guide, they have a section where they decide which TV characters you'd want to invite to Christmas dinner - and which ones you couldn't stand. Frasier was one of the 6 you'd want, here's what they said:

With his sophisticated palate and taste for haute cuisine, Seattle's resident radio shrink will ensure that only the finest foods will be prepared for the Christmas table. But be warned - those unused to such rich fare could end up in not such good gastric health.

Interestingly Frasier's old Cheers friend Cliff is in the other category:

Cliff could bore for America and for 11 years on Cheers he did just that. His mailman uniform is also likely to antagonise guests still awaiting their Christmas deliveries.

Updates - I've made a little update to the Skyline page.

December 13th 2001

More on Season 9 - I now know the exact date of the season premiere, it will air on January 4th 2002 at 10pm on Channel 4. The hour long episode will also air in its entirety, rather than being split into 2 parts. For more information on Season 9 click here.

Christmas - I've put up the "decorations" on the site. :-) Also for your Yuletide pleasure is a new fan fiction story, Season's Greetings, which I hope you will enjoy.

December 9th 2001

Season 9 - is definitely starting on Channel 4 in January!!! Plus I've managed to find out some information about the season - find it here.

Change in e-mail address - One of our regular fan fiction writers, Ben, has asked me to point out his e-mail address is changing. He's been getting so much junk mail that he's changed address to bentowse@hotmail.com. He apologises for any comments that may have gone into his Junk Mail folder in Hotmail as well, so if he hasn't replied, that's why.

Other updates - A couple more ideas have been added to the Episode Title References Page and the Other Characters Page.

December 1st 2001

Merchandise - I found out the other day why my parents weren't able to get me the Season 2 Box Set. Its date of release had been pushed back to December 3rd! So it will be out then, and hopefully I'll get it for Christmas. Info on the videos has been added onto the Merchandise page, as has the new Frasier scripts book.

Happy birthday - to Dan Butler (Bulldog) who turns 47 tomorrow.

November 25th 2001

New Merchandise - Yesterday was my birthday, and I got the new Frasier scripts book!!! It contains the scripts to 15 more Frasier episodes including the Niles & Daphne getting together episodes. I'll add it to the Merchandise page soon. Sadly my parents weren't able to get me the Season 2 box set, but never mind, it's on my Christmas list!!! :-)

New Fan Fiction - A different sort of fan fiction is now online. Written by Ben, September 11th shows how that day affected the Cranes and how they felt about the events that happened. It's now online at the Fan Fiction section.

New Section - On this page is a new section, Upcoming Events. It will say things such as whose birthday is coming up or if any special Frasier events are happening. Today it mentions the Frasier weekend, which I forgot to mention here (oops). It was also on yesterday, so it was a nice birthday present from Paramount.

November 18th 2001

Advertise 4 3 - we've had a website sign up to it already!!! The Hill Valley Telegraph is a Back To The Future website and now has links to my site on it. In return, I've added links onto my site. Click here to see how the system works.

Updates - Some new information has been added to the John Mahoney and Jane Adams pages, check them out!!! Jane's birthday has also been added to the Calendar page.

When Martin Met Hester - I'm half way through Part 6, but I had an e-mail the other day about a possible error. In a Season 9 episode, Hester's maiden name is revealed to be Palmer, and Martin says they met in 1952. My fan fiction story however says Hester's maiden name was Winslow and they met in 1950!!! I decided on these long before the episode aired, so I'm going to continue with them. Just say Martin had a slight memory loss :-)!!!

1 day to go - Tomorrow (November 13th) is the premiere of the 200th episode of Frasier in the USA and Canada. It stars Bill Gates as himself!!! Plus an old friend returns. UK viewers will probably see in early next year.

Season 2 Box Set - This is now available. It's my birthday in 12 days time and hopefully I'll get the box set then. Here's hoping!!!

November 7th 2001

With apologies - for the lack of updates, but I've been busy in school recently due to Geography fieldwork and long maths homeworks!!! :-(

Updates - Although there isn't much point as most of them have aired already, I've updated this page with the episodes showing this week. I've also updated the Writers page - it's now got Season 5 links and Seasons 7 and 8 information.

Coming soon - Have you got a website? Would you like to spread word of its existence? Then your problems will be solved. Coming soon is a brand new service from Goodnight Seattle that means you will be able to advertise on this site!!! Keep checking this site for details over the next few weeks.

Sadly, news written before November 7th 2001 has already been deleted, so no more archives before this date will be added.
