We're here. Been here for two weeks. Here's a quick update.
Boxes take up most of the space in every room, plus we have a storage unit that's packed. No basement, no dining room, no yard.
We got scammed on a car purchase. Just bought a Chevy Tahoe. And still have a mortgage payment, plus rent. Yea. Good start.
The boys and I have joined a Toddler-Parent coop playgroup thing. It's been fun for them and I've met some other moms already. It snowed the first 5 days we were here.
The move went okay. It was a bit stressful. I cried. The house in Illinois needs to be cleaned. I didn't leave the heat on, but we managed to escape any water disaster.
The boys got their pictures taken through a student thing and I had cards made yesterday, mailed them out today. I'll out up some of their pictures. Of course they're cute.
Max smacked his face on the coffee table today and got a fat bloody lip. Then he fell asleep in his highchair during lunch. John has been coming home for lunch which is nice.
The town seems nice. There are a bunch of little coffee huts everywhere. We drove up to Couer d'Alene and Spokane Saturday and did a little exploring. I hope we sell our house soon and find a nice, not-too-expensive one here.
John's department party is Sunday and I want to make something impressive. We're leaving the boys with a sitter recommended by a coworker of John's who watched them last weekend for a few hours.
