Sunday, April 2 I'm working on my Bradley final exam. I almost feel like I've cheated since I started reading pregnancy books again recently, although I guess most people would be teaching a class at the same time. We met with a DEM (direct entry midwife) this week and I'm so glad that I like her. I am getting excited about having a homebirth. She gave me a due date for November 20, which I think is a little late. But I guess it will be between the 15th and the 20th. The ovulation tests I used didn't work - they were all negative, but I had to have ovulated sometime. So it should have happened sometime between the 21st and 26th of February. We found a house and made an offer yesterday. They made a counteroffer and John wants to accept. It's a decent price in a good neigboorhood, but the house needs some cosmetic work and has two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. I've been having crabby moments so I'm not sure how I feel about it. We should probably just do it, but the mortgage payments will be a bit high. I guess not too high compared to what John was making and what we paid in Illinois, though. There's a hot tub and a huge tub in the master bath, and a two car garage, and decent sized kitchen, and some nice views. The boys keep getting bigger and cuter. Did I talk about John's birthday? What a big boy. Oh yeah, and we're potty training. That's a lot of fun. |
