JESSE IS MADE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN HIS BROTHER AND HIS NEW FOUND FAMILY IN ROCK CREEK...

Jimmy is taking a break from a run in Fairfield when he witnesses a bank robbery. A shoot-out erupts and a deputy gets killed. During the commotion, Jimmy notices that one of the robbers go into a different direction from the rest of the gang. While the marshall's posse runs after the gang, Jimmy goes after the lone rider. He ends up in a ghost town and manages to catch the thief. Jimmy takes him to Rock Creek. When Jesse sees the man he greets him enthusiastically and introduces him as his brother Frank.

In town, Cody meets three businessmen from New York and a "tour manager" who tells him that the elderly gentlemen's longtime dream was to see the Wild West. Cody tries to show them stuff cowboys do, but when they ask if they can try it themselves, the man who organized the tour wouldn't allow it saying it was too dangerous. The elderly men finally got fed up, stole the wagon and went for a dangerous joyride. Cody saves them and the tour manager finally agrees to let them have a taste of the Wild West first hand.

Teaspoon locks Frank up and warns Jesse not to do anything that he might regret later one (like free Frank). He allows Jesse to talk to Frank though and the two brothers catch up. Frank tells Jesse he didn't steal the money for himself but to buy guns for the South. He tries to persuade Jesse to join him in fighting for the cause. Apparently, he succeeds because later that night Jesse returns to Teaspoon's office and tries to free Frank. His attempts are thwarted for Teaspoon hid the key to Frank's cell. Frank is still free when some of his former gang members arrive. They were only posing as Southern sympathizers and Frank realized this early on, that's why he took the money and ran. Teaspoon tries to fight back and shot, while frank uses the distraction to escape. He orders Jesse to go with him. Jesse wants to help Teaspoon but in the end he goes with his brother.

Teaspoon sends Buck, Kid and Lou to track Jesse and Frank. That night Kid tells Lou that if war breaks up he was going home to Virginia to fight on the side of the South. When Lou asks if he was leaving Rock Creek, Kid responds that he was leaving her and that it was the hardest he would have to do... except that staying would be harder.

Jimmy arrives in Rock Creek and he tells Teaspoon there is no need for tracking because he knows where Frank is headed. They find Frank and Jesse at the ghost town. They also find the remaining gang members. A gunfight takes place and Teaspoon and Jimmy manage to kill the gang members. Frank tries to escape, but this time Jesse stops him and makes him return the money. Teaspoon and Jimmy spare Frank's life for Jesse's sake and he rides away scot-free.
