Submitted by: Tamara It is rigorous, hands-on, interactive, and extremely well done. Lesson planning, lesson tracking, and lesson scripting are all done for the parent, although the parent has the option of using these helps or not. Most lessons have various optional activities which address all the different learning modalities. This program is laid out very Classically, and is easily adapted for use with the Classical method. It could also be used quite compatibly with the unit method. While not explicitly Christian, it is a didactic, fact-based program which can be easily harmonized with a Christian world view. While this program has occasionally received bad press due to the fact that many virtual charter schools use it, it is also used by many independent homeschoolers with great results. I can truly recommend it wholeheartedly!" |
