Comments: "We love the McGuffey series. I have a five year old who has started reading these. Plus, I found the workbooks by Mott Media that does a thorough job of using the readers. Between the two, your child will receive a great language arts foundation that will continue thru high school. They also have a writing series that coincides with the readers. Wonderful series!"

Comments: "We got hold of these readers just 2 years ago and are using them as part of my daughter's reading curriculum for high school.  Much to my surprise, she loves it!  I wanted her to be reading this kind of literature with its high integrity for her spiritual enrichment, but was afraid she'd rebel.  Instead, she's going ahead faster than necessary, and she often mentions or quotes one of the selections.  The readings are very old fashioned in vocabulary and grammar and are very different to most literature available today.  Wish I'd started with this when she was younger.  I will use them with my son at a younger age."
