Comments: "I used SOS for grades 7 and 8. It was very helpful with allowing the student the freedom of independent work. I found some of the computer generated answers to be incorrect, but they allow the "teacher" to "skip" any questions that you do not want the student to answer. It was great as it corrected most of the work.

But watch out!! If you only have one computer (and one set of SOS), and more than one child using SOS, then there will be complaints from the children that there is not enough time in the day for them to each have their own work time (or they will fight over the same time period). SOS is great if you have more than one computer, and each child has his/her own set of SOS."

Comments: "We've used SOS for three years now and absolutely love it!! It does all the lesson plans, tests, quizes, grade percentages, and does most of the checking of work -- which is a HUGE time saver!! It's a real help when you have multiple levels of learning because it encourages independence while you do activities with other children. It's a distinctively Christian curriculum. The student does need to be a good reader, unless you read the lessons to them...which I have done with one child."
