Comments: "My 2nd grader used Preparing to Build English 2 and it was pretty good. We used the text book only. It has a lesson for every day and it is self-explanatory. My 2nd grader worked in this book on her own, for the most part. Although some days we did do the lesson orally. The lessons are not overwhelming at all. The book is divided into about six units and each unit contains 25 daily lessons, including review lessons. You can also purchase a small test booklet. We also used this as our writing on most days. She has learned a lot from this book. We are considering using the Beginning Wisely English 3 book for next year."
