Comments:  "We used Sonlight all this year with a 4th and 5th graders. The readers and read alouds are wonderful (though the reading level was far too easy for my kids). We had to supplement a lot with additional reading. The scheduled out lessons in the teacher's guide are great if you stay with the plan they give you. No planning work. However, if you want to add hands-on work you end up re-planning all over anyway. Sonlight's reading is great, the source for discussions is awesome. But it feels like there should be "more" to the program. More projects or worksheets (though I'm not a worksheet person) or something. Overall it was a good experience for us, but took more modification than I expected."
