A famous and long cartoon in Japan drawn by Osamu Akimoto. At present, TV-anime type Kochi-Kame is broadcast by Fuji Telecast. Kankichi Ryoutsu is the most famous Japanese policeman all over the world. Those stories deal with Tokyo downtown Kameari.

Kodomo No Omocha
Miho Obana created the title. Shueisha's Monthly Ribbon deals with the cartoon series. In 1996-1998, TV-anime type Kodocha was broadcast. Director was Akitarou Daichi. The title also won Kodansha's prize on excellent cartoon in 1998.

Magic Knight Rayearth
The title was created by CLAMP. In 1994 - 1995, Osaka Yomiuri TV broadcast TV-anime type Magic Knight Rayearth. It consisted of two parts. The latter part was written by Nanase Oukawa of CLAMP. Its director was Mr. Toshihiro Hirano (at present, his name is Toshiki Hirano). In the anime, Ms Hekiru Shiina, who played the role of Hikaru Shidou, got very popular. She is rather famous as a singer at present.

Mamotte Shugogetten
Ms Minene Sakurano has drawn the cartoon for a few years on Enix Monthly Shounen Gangan. It looks like "Ah! My Goddess." Shugogetten Xiao-Lin (CV = Mariko Kouda, a famous voice actress) was a Chinese fairy. She had to protect her master. She appeared from a 8-angled ring "Shitenrin." If a man is good-natured enough to be able to look into the inside of the ring, he can be her master. Mr. Tasuke Shichiri (CV = Daisuke Sakaguchi) could look into the inside of the ring. He became her master. But he is a junior high school student in Tsurugaoka city (The model was Kamakura city.). At present, Japan has no wars. Fairy Xiao-Lin is made as a weapon to protect her master. She has a lot of "Hoshigami (Star Gods)" to fight against enemies. Xiao-Lin is very pretty but does not have any loving emotion. She has a small-sized Hoshigami "Rishu" (CV = Ayako kawazumi) to watch. Rishu always stays with Tasuke. She can teach Xiao-Lin Tasuke's situation. At first, it was made for little children. But it got more difficult and heartful.
By the way, thereafter two Chinese fairies appeared. These three are not sisters but rivals.

Martian Successor Nadesico
"Kidousenkan Nadesico" was a popular anime. Cartoon-type Nedesico was drawn by Kia Asamiya. But the cartoon was different from anime story. In 1998, anime-movie Nedesico was released. There Ms Omi Minami played the role of 16-year-old Ruri Hoshino, the new heroine. On the other hand, Great Producer Outsuki for King Records was the producer of the series.

Director Satoshi Kon made the anime-movie. It was very popular in Japan and rather famous in foreign countries. Mrs. Junko Iwao played the role of Mima Kirigoe, the heroine of double personality. It also dealt with Macintosh and Netscape navigator. Important! In July 1998, Director Satoshi Kon said to Dr. FangLang (me), "I do not regard Ms Chisa Yokoyama, a big-eyed voice actress, as a beauty. I do not know Nakoruru."

Tenchi Muyo team of AIC also made another title "Magical Girl, Pretty Samy." The heroine was Sasami. Kiyone and Mihoshi also appeared there as teachers. It is said that the title was made for Ms Chisa Yokoyama, who played the role of Sasami from No Need For Tenchi.

Ms Min Ayahana drew the title. It is very popular. Min Ayahana's orginal cartoon is a short comedy. TV-Tokyo made TV-anime type Chacha. There Mr. Shingo Katori, an idol star of SMAP, played the role of Rieya. In the series, original cartoons were influenced by TV-anime Chacha.
