I have to admit, I did listen with amusement when mainstream reporters started beating up on Scott McClellan. Months back McLyin said unequivocally that Karl Rove had nothing to do with that leak that outed an undercover CIA operative. What a shock...he lied. And while ongoing investigations have never stopped any of those idiots before the excuse for not answering questions on it is they are happy to discuss it -can't wait to discuss it - after the investigation.
Read this.As I was listening to this I was waiting for McLyin to bust out with, "I know you are, but what am I?"
Then, today (or technically yesterday) The War Criminal was asked about it. He said
virtually the exact same thing. What a bunch of tools.
A few quick thoughts on all this. First of all, a really good point on all this is
this editorial from the StarTribune in Minneapolis. My head would freakin explode if our corporate rag wrote something like this.
Second, I think it's pretty funny that the press is pissed...now. Finally. Literally, hundreds of thousands of people dying in Iraq - and a few of them even American - and they can't kiss ass enough. McLyin lied to them. No freakin crap. The War Criminal has been doing this for five years...there's been overwhelming evidence of this...and
now they're pissed. F-you.
Eventually, I think Rove will have to resign. Think that's good? Well, maybe not. I don't know if Rove leaving next year was planned anyway, but that'll give him time to fix all the voting machines for 2008. I'm serious. And he will have absolutely NO say in the administration after he leaves? Yeah, right.
There
may be one benefit from Rove getting driven out of the White House. It may give these dumbass Dems some kind of confidence to act like they acquired some kind of a backbone.......nah!
Oh, and who the hell told
The Douchebag (aka John Kerry) he could try to look like he was doing anything? If this MF-er gets the nomination again, I will laugh my balls off at anyone who admits to being a Democrat.
Which reminds me. This woman I met last weekend figured out how to shut me up. I was tabling at the Gay Pride Picnic for the Greens and she comes up to the table, looks around, hems & haws..."I don't know. I like all the things the Green Party stands for, but...if it wasn't for them Bush wouldn't have been elected." So me and the other person who was with me roll our eyes and both lay into her.
"He
wasn't elected, he stole both elections."
"Pat Buchanon got enough votes to make a difference."
"With the electoral college, it doesn't matter in NYS."
"Dems ran horrible campaigns."
"And Kerry would have done a better job?"
She shut both of us up with this response.
"I liked that John Kerry."
My response: "Well then, have a nice day."
We registered 3 new greens & 2 blanks that day.
And lastly, where the hell is that savior of progressivism in the Democratic Party, Dennis Kucinich? Man, after he
folded like a cheap Crap-Mart tent at the Democratic Convention progressives should have left that smoldering pile of dung called a party, en masse. I like the part where Denny says, "I have not changed my position one iota. I think it's important to understand that."
Dude, you can
say whatever you want about your position - your position is what you
do. Sandy Berger kicked your ass. Dude's name is Sandy for crying out loud. Hey Denny, what state are you from? Oh yeah, Ohio. Isn't that where all the election shenannigans were going on? It sure was cool to have a Democratic Congressperson all over that...oh right, that wasn't you that was
Conyers from Michigan.
And to all those local ex-Greens who were proud of themselves for going Dem to work for Denny...helluva job. Keep up the good work. Next time, if you're gonna work for a loser you may as well work for one who actually
did something.OK, that was all one huge digression. But it was fun...for me, anyway.
