Finally! Man, I was getting a little worried. I haven't been able to write anything I liked in at least a year...today, a song just hit me as I was driving. I had to hurry to where I was going, sit in the parking lot and just start writing. I like where it is so far, but I don't have a structure to it - or even a hook - yet. I'm fixin to get to it after this. It's Whiteesque so I'm happy.

[Non-sequitur Alert]

Everyone has those moments where they think of something freakin hilarious or smooth to say...minutes, hours or even days after it would have been funny or smooth. I would like to have the superpower to be able to do this time warp thing where I could go back and say what I thought of. Or even the ability to make people think I said it. I would also like this superpower to make something funny even after I have to explain it 5 times to a person. On that note...here are a few things that would have been smooth/funny if I had said it at the time:

"Oh, so now you have a street named after you."
"Because Bob is spelled with a 'b'."
"But, I'm not supposed to sound black."

Here are a few things that will never be funny or smooth, even if I had this new superpower:

"That's what she said."
"No, I'd like to eat it off of your ass."
"But you do it for me."

And on a totally, self-centered note (!), superpower or not, this will always be funny to me, because you just had to be there:

"And then you do it to the jacket."
