As I blog, the G8 Summit is going down in Scotland. Everyone there hates the US...it used to be just The War Criminal they hated, but now that we the people allowed him to rig another election they hate us, too. Even Baloney Blair is peeved because the War Criminal & Co refuses to acknowledge global warming. Honestly, the US needs to be stopped. It would be cool if the rest of the group got together and forced us to chill, but I doubt it will happen. They don't have the fortitude.

Just as with all of these things, there are a ton of protesters there. And already the police are kicking the shit out of them. You can check it out - live at Indymedia UK or Indymedia Scotland. I never could understand how police could beat the crap out of protesters...Seattle, Miami, Quebec...doesn't matter. Let 'em walk around, yell, do drum circles, whatever. They get off on gassing people who have no weapons.

Hey, got any spare cash laying around? I bet you do. I saw a couple of minutes of some Dateline...20/20...whatever...story about this group of people who have set up this program to prevent girls in Thailand from getting taken into prostitution. They educate them, try to get them into places of higher learning, get them ready to work and even try to help the ones who have already been taken. I'm talking about girls...10, 11, 12 years old. This program is called the Daughters' Education Programme. So if you have a few bucks, send 'em some scoots.
