Wha? OK...how do you get nuclear power is good for the environment? Yeah, it doesn't contribute to global warming, but that's not the only thing harming the environment. That's just the carbon aspect of it. Crap that gets into groundwater, polluting rivers, lakes & oceans and...oh yeah..radioactive waste...that's not good for the environment.

This is another example of how weird it is to get old. As I realize that life is more complicated and nuanced than I thought it was when I was younger, I also am able to see some things in pretty black and white terms...like, radioactivity is bad for you. That's pretty much all there is to that. No nuance there. Kinda like HIV or Terell Owens...
