Hey! Yep, it's been a while. Sorry 'bout that. We're coming up on Election Day and I've been really focused on the campaign I'm working on. It's been taking up almost every ounce of mental energy lately.

Yes. I said election day...they come up every year...actually, more than that as many towns have elections in the spring as well. So if you're one of those cats who only votes every 4 years...Get To Work! You have 8 days to study up on city council, town supervisor, receiver of taxes and all those other races. They're freakin important in two ways.

First, they deal with stuff that effect your life on a daily basis: roads, taxes, schools, zoning laws, sewers, etc. Second, after Kennedy defeated Nixon, the Republicans decided to rebuild their party by starting at the "bottom". They focused on school boards, town councils, etc and built themselves up from the bottom. That's how they were able to get an evil dumbass like The War Criminal in the White House.

So go do your homework on these races and vote on November 8th...don't just vote party line...if you're a democrat and the democrat seems like an idiot, don't vote for the person. If you vote for idiots just because of the party s/he is on, it tells party leaders that it's OK to keep putting these people up for election...these people...they breathe our oxygen and take up good parking spaces.

A quick comment on all this Scooter Libby crap. Lefty radio folks have been orgasmic all week about the impending inditements. They've been talking about them like sports radio dorks talk about upcoming football games...predicting, analyzing hypotheticals, hiding erect nipples. And they had already set their own scenario for the "disappointment" of only Scooter going down. But here's the thing that "bugs" me...

The War Criminal's administration is pretty much falling apart. Not only have they been having a rough time lately, but the mainstream media is now willing to be critical of those cats...too little, too late in my opinion; and the media usually gets more critical during second terms anyway. So, with all these problems with the Republicans (DeLay, Frist, Robertson not shutting his yap, etc), you may have a bunch of "moderates" go dem. That's bad...because an influx of moderate R's into the Democratic party will bring that party even more to the right.

Well, I guess that's good for the Greens, though. Party on, Dudes!

I do have a bunch of non-political stuff including new pictures of that ping pong goddess, BIBA. That's going to have to wait until after Nov 8th. There's some updating of Whitee stuff - remember the music...the supposed reason for this page? All that in a week or so.
