OK, stay with me on this.

There's starting to be a big tizzy about the condition of Walter Reed Hospital - where veterans go, particularly ones who have just been injured in war. It sucks there and it started to suck a couple of years ago when The War Criminal started privitzing everything. You can see a brief CNN report here.

Democrats in Congress have set up an investigation (with Subpenas) so fast that I think I have whiplash. They're also doling out subpenas to lawyers in the Justice Department who were fired by The War Criminal. THAT'S been there first use of the subpena power that had been getting so many nipples erect.

Now...here's the thing you MUST read. It's Seymour Hersh's article on how we're already into Iran. What people don't know much about it is that Iran is WAAAAAAAY more powerful than Iraq; they have bought hundreds of Russian planes that were specially developed to fuck up US aircraft carriers. They've also been signing treaties with Russia, China, N. Korea and others. If Iran gums up the Strait of Hormuz, it's going to mess up the economies of a lot of countries who are going to be (more) pissed at us. We're talking about a world war...and The War Criminal and his minions as well as the two presidential flavors of the month, Clintonbagger and Obama (I gotta get a nickname for him) continue to use the expression that no option is "off the table" (unlike impeachment). That's code for nuclear weapons.

Folks. This is nearer than you think. And the Democrats are saying that impeachment is off the table and they can't make up their fucking minds on Iraq...and meanwhile World War III is around the corner. Swell.

Call your representatives NOW...tell them to stop funding for troops in Iraq - which will slow down this train to hell. Again...here are the links to contact them:

Your Senator
Your Congressperson

It's a freakin phone call...It's not like anyone's asking you to march in a protest.

On a semi-related note...today's Democracy Now featured and hour-long reach around with Wesley Clark...who's probably running for the Democratic nomination again. It's an interesting thing to check out because once he declares, you won't see another interview like this again. He says a lot of good things, but there's something there that doesn't sit right with me. Well, check out the interview for yourself. When you get down to it, he'll still kill with the rest of them. He'd probably be good as Secretary of State or something like that...but not president.
