Yeah, I sucked it up. I bought a Prius. Used, but a Prius nonetheless. I probably should have went cheap and small, but I saw it, test drove it and the rest was history. I tell everyone to do what they can to stick it to the man, that's what I could do right now.

So as I said in my previous post, I just finished moving to Maui. For a job. On the way, I stopped in Portland, Oregon. Now, I'm not saying that either of these places are perfection, in fact, Maui's kinda getting me down. A ton of development happening here...it's gonna be funky down the road. But from my house I can see a big ass mountain. And what's on that mountain? A buttload of windmills. (picture is coming) And you know what? To me they look beautiful! They look like cool pieces of moving sculpture that's also producing renewable energy. There's dildo's in Western/Central New York who are bitching about proposed windmills. Shut the F-up. It should be something of pride and because it's something different you bitch. This is actually good progress. You'll probably kiss Crap-mart's ass to build a superstore next-door to you, though.

And in Portland...first of all, Portland is a cool-ass town. If things don't work out here (which isn't going to be the case), Portland is my next stop. So, they build stuff that wins awards for it's green-ness:

This building won some kind of green building of the year award. It's not that f-ing difficult. Just decide you're going to build stuff that is solar, thermal, etc. Just do it. Most cities are so damn reactionary. It's not that hard.
