So I'm perusing a baseball website that is, without a doubt, the worst typed website of all time and there's a sports headline at the top of the page:

Tiger joins Koufax, Hogan in halls of bravery

OK, Sparky. Slow down a second. Let's back the Hyperbole Train up here. First of all, it's golf. Now I'm not bringing up that whole - is golf actually a sport, argument. I'm pointing out that golf is an individual sport. Playing with a busted up leg isn't brave. It's self-centered, driven, maybe even crazy, but brave? No.

Now, you have a mini-argument for those who competed while hurt in team sports - you do it for the team, but this is still weak. Why?

Because it's freakin sports! You're not brave playing sports. You're brave rescuing children from a burning building. You're brave standing up for what you believe in when everyone around you disagrees. You're not brave pitching in a game with a bad arm. If that's the case, I should have a chest full of medals. (I didn't say pitch well)
