We returned to Mike's home, safely navigating through the even more animated Philadelphia traffic. The talk radio stations were abuzz about the latest Temple blowout, and they solicited phone calls from those who had attended the game. When they didn't get any, they assumed no one had attended the game.

When we returned, we sat around the house for a little while and tried to relax before we had to leave for another six-hour drive back to Houghton. Jill made dinner, a chicken dish that was very tasty, but the actual ingredients of which I simply cannot recall, at 4 AM, almost a full month later. After dinner, we had dessert and she gave us some good cookies - some for us, and some to take back to her sister, who goes to Houghton as well.

It was pointed out to me later, quite ironically, that in all the pictures I took at their apartment, she was always doing some sort of domestic chore. I expect it was a very atypical weekend, as Mike no doubt does his share of the work as well. I just have no proof.
