Short both realize things are not as they seem. A Dark presence is hunting Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon runs into problems as well. MAJOR ANGST.

Part 1
Age 13: This is maybe why Qui-Gon asks as cold to Obi-Wan as he does in these books. It's not the same father/son love we see in the movie. This might be why he really went back to get Obi-Wan.
Part 2
Age 13: Obi-Wan realizes his mistake. The Young save the kids being attacked, Obi gets hurt. Tell Cerasi about Qui-Gon, Cerasi tries to help Obi. The Elders plan the unthinkable to end conflict.
Part 3
Age 13: The Elders test their death weapon with terrible results and the final assult on the Young begins.

"Now I Know"

Age 13: Obi-Wan's second official mission with Qui-Gon, and returning to the Temple as a Padawan. Bonding between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.
"Now I Know" part 1
Age 13: Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan return to the Temple for the first times as Master and Padawan. Qui-Gon meets Obi-Wan's friends, and gain a new and dangerous mission.
"Now I Know" part 2
Age 13: Obi-Wan is terrified by a vision givien to him by the Force. Qui-Gon attempts to comfort him. They talk about what is to come, and strengthen their bond.
"Now I Know" part 3
Age 13: Arriving on the planet Recellan 2, they find that almost everything is destroyed, they meet with the planet's Senator and other officials. They realize they must get the entire gov't away before they are killed by the rebels. This envolves a dangerous trek through the bombed-out city on foot with the terrorist watching them.
"Now I Know" part 4
Age 13: The trek through the bombed out city becomes more dangersous with the arrival of the mercenaries, but the help of a new arrival makes things interesting. Some reach the spaceport, but OTHERS don't....
"Now I Know" part 5
Age 13: The big confrontation with the mercenary ship and getting our padawans to safety. I threw in some mush for extra credit. That's all I'll say, you'll have to read it.

Age 13: A story about how Qui-Gon made Obi-Wan's braid when they were first joined as Master and Padawan.

Age 13: Obi-Wan asks Qui-Gon about visiting their families on holidays from the Temple. They go to Obi-Wan's first to meets his parents and brother Owen, then to meet Qui-Gon's extended family and that is when the **Trouble** begins.

Age 14: Obi-Wan and Bant are poisoned in the Temple pool. The healers say they will die before threatment can attempted. Qui-Gon remembers their past and how much he loves his Padawan. Obi-Wan tries to figure out where they are in the "The In Between Place".
