The auther is Marry Higgins Clark. She is the bestselling auther in the US, and called as the queen of suspense. She wrote several mysteries, and every story is quite good so far. For example, "Where are the children", "A Cry in the Night", "Remember Me", "Pretend You don't See Her." 2) publisher & price... $7.99 in the US and $9.99 in Canada. I have no clue how much they are in Japan. 3) difficulty... the middle. probably TOEFL 450~. 4) recommendation... Each book has about 300 pages, and surely there are quite a few words you don't know. However, the story makes you excited and you cannot stop reading until the mystery is solved. After you finished the book, you can feel comfortable from knowing the ending, and also feel achivement of English reading.
