- Three strikes. That's it. I try to be social and I like to include as many people as possible in various activities. If someone declines or misses an event they were invited to once, I can understand that. Twice, is ok as well. I am a little bit dissapointed after the third time, but there will not be a fourth. The way I see it is that three invitations being declined or missed shows an underlying issue that you are not being made aware of. I carry this philosophy over to all forms of making contact. Phone calls, emails, whatever. If no effort is made to return contact by the other party, then fuck it. It is not going to happen. Accept it. Especially with flirting. This is especially harsh since I have proven to be rather daft when it comes to picking up on stuff like people flirting with me. That is one of the reasons I like women with strong personalities (i.e.: real bitches) because they make themselves known. I prefer people who are positive thinkers since they are invariably more fun to be around, but I respenct a woman who isn't affraid to let you know when something makes her unhappy. Maybe it has something to do with the whole "challenge" thing men are drawn to. I have spent long hours reflecting on this but only come up with more questions. Oh well. Time to take a break from that sort of black hole of introspectiveness and shallow out some... I like bar-b-q. I think all guys inherently like bar-b-q like cats like catnip. I have to try to think of a human equivelent to catnip (peoplenip if you will). There have been a few suggestions given to me so far, but most of them fall under the classicifation: hippynip.

- OH BOY!!! I have a new stalker. :) I feel a lot better knowing that there are more people interested in my thoughts than Sydney and myself. I have to wonder about Sydney. He seems to find my updates almost as quick as I do. Sydney, this isn't your home page, is it? Anyway, this one has a poetic form of writing so I suspect it is a woman. That and they also mentioned that they have met me a couple of times and not said anything about wanting to punch me. I'm only a dick to other guys so that's promising. I'm in a pretty good mood now. Oh, Sydney, I got to take a look at that pic. I now know for sure which side is not my good side. Blargh.

- Ok! I've had some of my special blend of supercaff coffee and I'm feeling pretty damned good. I can't see straight right now, but the colors that I DO see are amusing. I just wrote a pretty friggin weird email to a couple of my friends. It's amazing what kind of fun you can have when you fake a return email address. HAR HAR HAR! That, and I got to enjoy a very special dance.

- I'm so depressed. I've been driving around all day trying to figure out what I should be doing with my life right now. I have had the supreme pleasure of reading a lot of books lately but that just makes things worse because after reading books about people who make a difference, you feel pretty bad about yourself. I'm not meeting my own expectations and I never thought that would happen. I don't have any expectations. That's the part that kills me. I didn't realize I was depressed until this afternoon when I discovered that there was nothing that I was really excited about buying. Sure, there are a couple of things I would like to have, but nothing that I have been really passionate about pursuing. No hard-core desires. I haven't even lusted for any particular women lately. How could this be? I've had no desire for guns, women, computer stuff, stereo equipment, or just plain spending money. I guess this will teach me never to talk to old girlfriends again. Too introspective. Damn... I was hoping it wouldn't come to this. Time to face the facts though. I need to drink more coffee. Sigh... Hold on.

- Yesterday after going to the movies and watching Atlantis and then The Fast And The Furious for the second time, I stopped to get some hair dye. I was pleased to notice a new brand. I figured I would give it a try and was pleased to also notice that it did a one-step bleach and dye. Neat concept but difficult to imagine a bleach that will strip color and then put another one in it's place. I am pleased to announce that it worked like a charm. Too well. I had the greatest shade of purple I've ever had, but I was intending to have a much darker color this time around. I bought another dye this time (Manic Panic, I'm used to them) and now have "Vampire Red" hair. Great looking in my humble opinion. If I had my digital camera handy, I would take a pic for future reference but some wanker tried to steal it from me and lost it in another persons car (who lives in Georgia) so I don't have it. Grrr...

- Well this weekend was a LOT of fun. Some of my Airsoft friends and I went down to Athens, GA for Operation Bunker Villa. Two full days of Airsoft goodness, and an extra day just to hang out with the various personalities we have met online and come to love. It was a real trip. Friday began at the crack of dawn with a four hour road trip that would not stop. Driving for four hours with only one hour of sleep is never a fun thing but luckily, I was blessed with ample caffeine pills and soda. Once we got there, we hung out with some of the best people I've met in a long time and ate at a top notch Japanese steak house. You know, the kind where the cook comes out and cooks right in front of you and makes a big production out of it. Best filet mignon I've had in my life. I even ate vegetables. The after dinner conversation was all sorts of fun. Imagine mixed company talking about guns, flash-bangs, Dirty Sanchez, Donkey Punching, Twirly Birds, Rhodeos, and speeding tickets. My kind of people. I had never heard of Donkey Punches, or Dirty Sanchez before that day but I am afraid I will not forget them anytime soon. After that, we became good friends with the second largest Ducati motorcycle dealership. Wulf and I spent the next eight hours teaching them how to work on their guns and got them back up and running in exchange for their making us laugh. I finally passed out and missed a few hours of the first game until housekeeping came by and refused to let me go back to sleep. Fifteen minutes later, I had broken the alternator in my car. Great. Fantastic. Joy. Two hours and a new alternator later, I was finally at the game and having a blast! Saturday night we all had some kick-ass Mexican food and Vince and I got tore up on some Coronas. He just got back from boot camp and I'm a natural light-weight so we were good to go after only three beers. We were really learning to love Athens and the cute college girls that were everywhere you looked, except that THEY DON'T SELL BOOZE AFTER 11:17PM!!! What kind of crack is that anyway? Sunday we got to the field on time and played our asses off. I've never sweat so much in my life. I probably ran more that day than I ever did in all my years in gym class. There's a big difference between running around in some stupid little shorts and running up and down hills wearing combat boots, a full uniform of BDUs, webgear, and a full loadout including rifle. Did I mention sweating? I'm still rehydrating. Monday I slept, fed my fishies, read a couple of pages in my book, and fell asleep again. Oh yeah, that and I had to repair and clean my car after a bottle of freon exploded in my car (HINT: DO NOT LEAVE IT IN THE BACK SEAT OF THE CAR WHERE THE SUN CAN CAUSE IT TO REACH TEMPERATURES OVER 140). Suck. It destroyed a perfectly good box of Nerds, but that's another story.

- The reason I haven't been updating very much lately is because I'm a bitch. No, really! I suck. I haven't done anything really interesting in quite some time. Well, that's not entirely true but motivation to write about it only seems to come when I'm away from my computer. For example, I was trying to read a book last night (trying to finish book four of the Wheel of Time series) and I had all sorts of motivation to work on various web pages. Too bad I was already in bed. I haven't even bothered to register the domain I meant to use. Oh well. While I'm here, I might as well do that. It's not like I'm going to go into some great profound speech about the great weekend I had. I mean, come on, all I did this weekend is go to a LAN party which only had 3 people on Saturday and Sunday I watched The Killer and Hard Boiled. Again and again and again. Good stuff. I'm off to do other things now and then probably go to sleep. Maybe.

- I received a letter from Matt concerning the next party and asked that I display it here for the few of you that read it. I find it interesting and full of goodness. Enjoy!:
In an effort to bolster party attendance and hopefully attract a record
crowd I have decided to do the following:
Food will be provided. A cookout shall occur shortly before dark and
continue until the food is gone. All I ask for this is a small donation
towards food. Burgers, Dogs and my personal fav Bratwurst will be cooking on
the grill. I might even ante up for a couple of salmon filets for those who
do not eat red meat and black bean burgers for those vegetarian fiends of
ours.
The BDM and I tossed ideas back and forth and are currently researching the
cost of renting a Lemon Ice machine from a party supply store (that should
bring back memories or nightmares of Fazoli's) and I will personally cough
up enough liquor for a large supply of Tasty Beverage to be mixed by the
BDM. If there is interest in getting a pony keg or party ball email me
and I'll look into it. Please specify beer of preference when responding.
The email is Party_At_Taters@yahoo.com.
AND BRING A FRIEND!!!

- I was dead. Well, not really but it felt like it. I played the hell out of some Airsoft on Saturday. Boy howdy was it fun! It drained me though. I am getting old. It exhausted me so much I didn't even update my journal for several days prior to the game. Whew! Went to bed at the ghastly early hour of midnight and then slept through the vast majority of Sunday. Today I woke up and almost burned down the house. Again. I should really not be allowed anywhere near a kitchen with a real oven. I tried to reheat my pizza from last night but the microwave just isn't as good as remelting the cheese in a standard oven. I turned it on to the -warm- setting and tossed in the box. I decided to spend my time online while waiting on the pizza. Three hours later I went to work. Five hours after that, I frantically called the house and asked the house girl to please turn off the oven. Lucky for me, she smelled the burning and turned it off earlier. Good thing we installed all those new smoke detectors!
