- Aye, laddie. One month aniversary of Not Working At The Sucky Clientlogic As A Bellsouth.net Support Zombie Slave. There should be a website for that.
I love Scrubs. You do too. Even if you don't, you do. If you don't know what Scrubs is yet, you especially do and haven't been conv... realized it yet. It's all over the web. Thank "Bob" for P2P networking. Should have all of them by the end of the week (bandwidth willing).
"If porn was taken off of the internet, there would only be one web page left and it would say bring back the porn" -Dr. Cox.
That's just SCREAMING sig file. Mm-hmm.
There needs to be more Kool-Aid Man busting through walls on TV. Or in real life. That would be better. I remembered watching those commercials as a kid on Saturday morning cartoons. You know the ones. Two or three kids would be standing around and one would comment about being hot and thirsty. Suddenly, Kool-Aid Man would burst through the only wall around to serve up some fruity goodness in a glass. I tried standing around complaining about how hot and thirsty I was but he didn't show up. I thought maybe I wasn't standing close enough to a wall but several experiments failed. Maybe it only works when you're a kid. I'm pretty sure I was hot and thirsty at least once when I was a kid and I don't remember no Kool-Aid Man coming to my refreshment rescue. It sure as hell didn't work yesterday. It's probably a good thing. I'm sure people could miss-use his good intentions near banks and whatnot.

- FREEDOM! I'm coming up on my one month aniversary of not working for Clientlogic again. I'm so happy. I'm exhausted though because it hasn't been all slack and play. You know me. =) I've been busting ass opening an Airsoft store in Knoxville. Some of you already know this since you play Airsoft with me, but maybe you don't. Now you do. It'll be good to have a real job for once, and something I'm passionate about. When people ask me what I do, I get to tell them I sell Airsoft guns. Their eyes either light up or glaze over. Mostly they ask me, 'Air... soft? One word or two? What's that?" and this leads to my schpiel where I try to relate what it is without pulling out a scary looking M4 SOPMOD and saying "We run around with these great big guns that shoot bbs!" when it is, in fact, just that.
Unrelated: If you watch TLC and see Trading Spaces every once in a while then you start to become familiar with the various designers. Genevieve is my least favorite. In fact, I hate her. Moss on the walls? WTF? I dunno. to each their own, I suppose. I still like her better than michael moore. I like how he's been given two awards for his movies, only to have the festivals feel like morons when it comes out that his "documentaries" are more fictitious than the latest comic book inspired movie. Bowling for Columbine won such an award and then two months later several articles appeared online and in the papers about how the movie stated a lot of 'facts' that were blatantly wrong or missquoted at best. Stuff like that. What I can't figure out is why his latest movie is making so much money. I wasn't going to go see it to begin with, but when I logged on one day and saw three reviews of people slamming the project after seeing advanced screenings before it even opened to the public, I couldn't help but laugh. All the people that went to go see it, must have gone because they wanted to get a laugh at Bush and show their support for the other party and he's stated alread that he'd do the same to whoever wins the next election. Especially if it's a democrat. To top it off, he said this during an interview with John Stewart. A decidedly democrat friendly show.
Politics...
I've been reading a lot more Tom Clancy books. I'm loving it. I've decided I have to read them all before they're made into movies. Patriot Games, Hunt for Red October, Sum of All Fears, Executive Orders, Clear and Present Danger, and soon Without Remorse and Rainbow Six. I'm happy to see more movies based on his work, as long as they DON'T ROYALY FUCK THE SHIT OUT OF THE STORY LIKE THEY DID IN SUM OF ALL FEARS! Sensitive? Sure am. That book was brilliant, but the movie was a REAL let down. Hunt for Red October was damned good and fairly accurate to the book by comparison. Anyway, Mirimax bought the options to make Without Remorse and Rainbox Six into movies and tasked John Woo to direct them. That should be good for the action. Rainbox Six had plenty of that. The intersting part is how they're going to make the movies appeal to a wide audience. Without Remorse was written in 93 and set in the 70's and explains the history of John Clark. Basically, he falls in love with a hooker, catches VD, and when she gets murdered by her old pimp, he goes on a killing spree shooting and torturing pimps and pushers. Fun stuff. It's everything The Punisher -should- have been. Frank Castle. What a wuss. Rainbow Six (made popular by countless video game adaptations) is John Clark, Ding, and a bunch of other operators taking out extremists, terrorists, and a militant terrorist version of the Sierra Club/Green Peace. That's going to be fun to see how they work THAT into the movie. =D I hope he has Chow Yun Fat in at least one of them. =)
