However, I love the cherry blossoms very much. I think it romantic that ancient people might had enjoyed seeing the cherry blossoms like us. Might be they drunk under the cherry blossoms too. The dignified ladies might had been busy vying for the favor of emperor. ───────────────────────────────────── <<コメント>> 全体的にうまくまとまっていますし、高レベルの知識を使おうと しているという点でよいと思います。間違いもありますが、これは知識をより 正確にしていけば自然と直っていくでしょう。 ───────────────────────────────────── <<添削>> ***** > I don't know what made me tempted to go to see the cherry > blossoms. 1. [what made me tempted ...]とありますが、ここで過去形にしてしまうと 以下が現在形になっているので意味がおかしくなります。[made]は[makes]で すね。 ->[I don't know what makes me tempted to go to see the cherry blossoms.] ***** > However, I love the cherry blossoms very much. OK. ***** > I think it romantic that ancient people might had enjoyed seeing the cherry > blossoms like us. 1. [think it + adj. + that ...]の使い方はとてもよいです。 2. [might had enjoyed]は[might have enjoyed]ですね。惜しいです。 ->[I think it romantic that ancient people might have enjoyed seeing the cherry blossoms like us.] ***** > Might be they drunk under the cherry blossoms too. 1. この文は間違いです。疑問文でないのに[might]を前に持ってきて倒置する ことはできません。また、時制も[might have + 過去分詞]の形になります。 2. この文の場合[drink]だけでは「何を飲んだのか」が分からないので、[drink sake]としましょう。 ->[They might have drunk sake under the cherry blossoms too.] ***** > The dignified ladies might had been busy vying for the favor of emperor. 1. 冠詞の問題ですが、[the diginified ladies]は特定されていないので[the]は いりません。反対に、[emperor]は一人しかいないので[the]を付けます。 2. [might had been]も[might have been]ですね。 3. [vying for]を使うのはとてもよいです。 ->[Diginified ladies might have been busy vying for the favor of the emperor.] ───────────────────────────────────── ＠Erikoさんの「四月」 ───────────────────────────────────── Ah, April! But their brightened eyes with great hope give me power and make me happy. ───────────────────────────────────── <<コメント>> かなり自己流の英語です。言いたいことは分かるのですが、そういう言い方はしない、 という部分が多いです。書くことは得意な方だと思いますので、知識を正確にしてい く勉強をするとよいでしょう。 ───────────────────────────────────── <<添削>> ***** > 2 new life versions have come to my family. 1. [2 new life versions]という言い方はしません。[versions]は日本語の直訳かと 思いますが、カタカナをそのまま英語で使えるかどうかは意識して辞書をチェックする 必要があります。ここでは次のように言うのが普通です。 ->[Two things happened to my family in this spring.] ***** > One is that the first son entered Jr. High and the other that the third son > entered Elementary. (The second is daughter of 4th grade .) 1. [Jr. High]と大文字にする必要はありません。[a junior high]でいいです。 2. [the other]の後にも[is]が必要です。 3. [Elementary]という言い方はありません。[an elementary school]とします。 4. [the third son]としてしまうと「三男」と言う意味なので、[the third child]と しましょう。 5. [the second ...]の部分は、[the second child is a daughter, who is in the 4th grade]とする必要があります。 ->[One is that the first child entered a junior high, and the other is that the third child entered an elementary school. After a long, boring ceremony, we went to the park near our school to take our last picture together. Although I didn't realize it at that time, it was such a beautiful day with cherry blossoms in bloom all over.
