- Wal-Mart, I forgive you. Sure, you are the last place a dying man or woman should ever buy music and I detest the organizations you deem cheritable enough to give money to, but I forgive you. Why? I have long been on a search for more of this for a looong time. It's so good. As such, I forgive you of all your sins.
For now.

- Aaaaand, as promised in my post below: The pics! Sorry it's taken so long. I had a lot of fun on the second photo trying to hold the rifle on target, hold the camera steady, keep the camera centered just right for the proper eye relief, and actually take the pic. It seems I managed to tilt the rifle ever so slightly and the camera even more so on that one. Meh.
The range Yes, the one in the center back. You can barely see it in this pic, but I assure you it's down there.
Niiiice optics See what I mean about the tilt? My bad.
Ow, my eye!Yep. I'm smug. That's a 3/4 inch group. That makes me a 1/4MOA shooter. That's competition level accuracy. I might have to start doing that. I'd like a trophy. The groupings center mass in this image were before I changed my shooting style from what you read about in books and gets taught at rifleman courses. That's still all 5 shots within the 10 ring and 2 bullseyes. I accredit this to the wonderful stock as it's very easy to do with this setup and let's not forget the upper and barrel that the wonderful guys at A.I. built for me. Thanks again to Tobias Albrecht III and Julian D. Viars for building this incredible weapon system for me.

No, that's not some testament to my l33t gaming skillz in some FPS, but is instead me bragging about what a great day I had yesterday at the gun range. I took my trusty rusty USP, my 10/22 match lighter, and my newest addition (finally complete with good glass). I'll give you a hint... It's the expensive one on my guns page. With the exceptional help from Welbly for giving me such a good deal on a scope he got while in Iraq, I now have something worthy of mounting on my AI. We took it out and sighted her in and after I adjusted my holding technique, I scored a 3/4 inch group at 200 yards. 200 FRIGGIN' YARDS MAN! That's putting 5 rounds through the left eye socket (B-27 target with a HI-Vis taped over it) of someone two football fields away. Pics were taken. Pics will be posted soon. If I can keep that up, I will have to start seriously considering going to some of the matches down at ORSA. At the very least I'm going to join the HP League and start working on my 600 and 1000 yard groups. Oh, to one day be a member of the Mile and a Half Club. :::swoon:::

- Whoops! I forgot to mention this link a long time ago. Special thanks to Dave for pointing this one out to me. I watch it quite a bit. I wasn't a huge Transformers nut, but I was big on GI Joe. Still, as an icon of my childhood, I still got a huge kick out of it. Now if only I can find the MP3 he uses... Share and enjoy!
