 Padouk by David Reed Smith Here is another wonderful wooden shuttle, handcrafted by David. The color is represented
quite well, on my montior. It is very red, it reminds
me of my Mom's antique teak (it sounds much funnier to say that than it does to type it!) dining set.This is the largest of David's shuttles that I purchased, but not the largest that he makes. It is 2 3/4 inches long, not including the spike. The spike is brass and is perfect for making joins. The shape of this shuttle is perfect, although it is a bit larger than I am used to. This makes it nice for winding a bit more thread without sacrificing the shape that I like. It has my name "Jen" engraved into it. Shuttles by David Reed Smith | |
