Tatra Sutra: Click to go HOME

ShuttleWater Buffalo Horn - From Catchpin in Seattle, WA. My parents got this for me along with quite a few others when they went to Seattle to visit family in June.

It is about 2 and 5/8 inches long. It is an deep opaque brown, almost black. It is very shiny. It is thin and flexible, almost rubbery, so the tips do not click when the thread is passed through. It is quite lightweight. I have not used it, because I am afraid of ruining it! When I first picked it up and tried to put thread in it, the tips spread on one side. I have heard this is typical of this type of shuttle.
