Debbie A Comfy Shuttle Debbie A Comfi Shuttle. This shuttle is very similar to the Susan Bates and Clover plastic shuttles, but it has raised ridges on the side, to make it easier to grip. I didn't have any trouble gripping those types, but still I wanted to try this one. It took a little getting used to, but it is a perfectly fine shuttle to use. It does make my hand hold the shuttle differently, but that's fine. I hold it more with my fingertips, rather than the entire palm-side of my fingers.

The shuttle is 2 1/4" by 3/4", not including the 3/8" spike. The spike is a little chunky on this shuttle. I'm finding that since I got a pendant hook, sometimes I use a hook for joins even when the shuttle has its own hook or spike. But it's still always nice when there is one, so you don't have to take a hook with you.

I'm using it to tat this variegated pink heart, that I am attempting to design myself! See the finished piece and pattern.
