 Amber - From GermanyThis is a really cute little shuttle, but it looks just like a cough drop. I want to pop it in my mouth whenever I take it out. It is made of "Weser Amber", a very special and rare sort of amber that can only be found in the North German lowlands along the river Weser. Its color is transparent like glass, and it looks like honey. I am a little afraid to handle it too much, because it is really just a sap, and in excess heat it could melt! 
See how tiny this shuttle is? You can also see one of the darker spots in the amber.If only there was a prehistoric mosquito in there, I could clone dinosaurs, start my own theme park, and make a fortune! | |
