ShuttleEast Indian Rosewood - From Catchpin in Seattle, WA. My parents got this for me along with quite a few others when they went to Seattle to visit family in June.

This is different in shape from my David Reed Smith East Indian Rosewood, but of course the color and figure are very similar. this is a much stockier shuttle. Whereas David uses thin veneers of wood for his shuttles, this is thicker, maybe solid carved wood. Both in my opinion are very nice ways of producing a wood shuttle. I think veneers are stronger though.

The shuttle has a nice rounded beetle-back kind of shape, and it has a wood spike. It has a nice waxy finish that is often used on wooden items.
