Penembak Jitu di Ambon: Siapakah Mereka? (30/04/2004) #8255
Radio Nederland Wereldomroep, Jumat 30 April 2004 06:45 WIB

Muslim Militia Attacking Christian Enclave (30/04/2004) #8254
Jubilee Campaign USA, April 29, 2004
We received word at 10:30 p.m. Ambon-time that a Laskar Jihad (LJ) force has landed and is making its way toward a Christian enclave. The full story can be read here. I appologize for sending this e-mail hard on the heels of the one this morning; however, if the LJ have indeed arrived, then the situation there is about to get a whole lot bloodier. This is the same group who, from 1999-2002 slaughtered Christians wholesale in the Maluku islands.

Sala Waku Maluku, 29 April 2004
By Team for Maluku Conflict Assessment - Yayasan Sala Waku Maluku (Maluku Shield Foundation).
The War Zone. Since the violence broke loose in Ambon in 25 April 2004 after noon, more people are dead or injured, and buildings burned. Up to now, the centre of fighting zone is still in the same area (around 300 m by 400 m) in the north west of the city. From our office in the south east of the city (approx. 3 km from the war zone), we can hear bomb blasts and gunshots very clearly. But it is not easy to penetrate a 3-km distance under heavy police presence, wild gunshots, snipers, bombing and local fighters along the streets.

Manajemen Isu FKM/RMS Dalam Konflik Maluku (30/04/2004) #8249
Sala Waku Maluku, 29 April 2004
